February, 2012 - Explore the wonders of nature photography during this incredible workshop at Parkside Orchid Nursery! Not only will you gain valuable insights from a noted professional photographer, but you’ll also receive a complimentary welcome bag, free Tamron loaner lenses during the shoot, a starter orchid planter, transportation, exclusive offers, bonus rebates, and a chance to win door prizes.
Meet award-winning photographer Ed Heaton as he kicks off the workshop with an informational lecture and presentation of his work. We'll prepare for the photo shoot by discussing how to work with macro lenses, understanding light, point of view, composition, and more. Then, bright and early on Saturday, a bus will transport the class from Dan’s Camera to the spectacular Parkside Orchids where Ed will demonstrate techniques and share valuable tips for taking better macro images. Heaton and the staff from Dan’s Camera City and Tamron will be on hand to help you capture incredible images of award-winning orchids. A continental breakfast and deli-style lunch will be served. We’ll regroup during the shooting session to exchange the Tamron loaner gear and continue to photograph.
