All you need is a digital SLR camera and your lenses. Most general purpose zoom lenses will be fine, but bring whatever you have– we'll experiment with a variety of focal lengths. If you have a flash, you should bring that, too.
We strongly suggest that you be familiar with your camera’s features beyond auto mode. These sessions focus on techniques, not specific camera operation. To get the most from your session you should know how to use aperture priority and manual exposure modes, and how to change your metering mode. Need to brush up on your skills? We have a class for that! Sign up for Understanding Your Camera to get up to speed.
