What is covered by the warranty:

If the camera fails to function properly under normal and proper usage due to defects in materials or workmanship during the period of this warranty, Dan's will at its option, either have the unit repaired at no charge or replaced with a model of comparable features.

What is not covered under the warranty:

This warranty does not cover damage to the product or malfunctions not resulting from defects in material or workmanship or those stemming from other than normal and proper use; including but not limited to: intentional or unintentional misuse or abuse, droppage or impact damage, tampering, repairs by unauthorized facilities, failure to follow manufacturer directions,water/moisture damage or sand damage or battery leakage. Rechargeable batteries are not covered.

What to do when you need service:

Contact Dan's immediately. This warranty is only valid if the camera is returned to Dan's Camera City for initial service within the time period of the warranty.

Dan's will provide a loaner digital camera for a period of up to one week; model and features will vary depending on availability any may not be comparable to your model (loaner program does not apply to digital SLR models).

Image recovery service

Should you have a memory card become unreadable, Dan's will attempt to recover the image under our Camera Card Rescue, however we cannot guarantee success.
