E-mail your photos

First, select the photos to e-mail. Multiple photos in a row may be selected by choosing the first in the series and holding down the shift key then selecting the last photo in the series. To select multiple photos which are not in a row, select a photo then hold down the control key while selecting other photos. After selecting the photos click on the E-mail button (A).

Type an e-mail address to send your pictures to, or click To: (B) for the address book features, detailed below. Type a message to the people receiving the e-mail in the Message: box. You may also use the Add Photos (C) button to include more photos from any folder once you see this screen.

Select the size you wish to have the photos sent as (D). Using a smaller size allows the e-mail to be sent more quickly. The photos on your computer are not altered, only the copies being e-mailed are changed.

Once you are ready to send the message, click Send. You will be asked to enter your name and e-mail address.

You have the option of using Photo Finale e-mail or Microsoft Outlook, if it is installed on your computer. If you do not have Outlook, use Photo Finale Mail. This is a free service built into Photo Finale. If you have Outlook you will be able to use all the functions you normally have access to, such as your address book.

Using the Photo Finale address book

To add a new person to the Photo Finale address book, select New Address (E).

To e-mail photos to people in your address book, select each person you'd like to send your pictures to from the list on the left and click the >> button (F). Their name will appear in the Send this e-mail to: box on the right. Once all the addresses you want are listed on the right, click OK.

See a slide show of your photos

Select the photos to have in the slide show by clicking on the pictures. Hold down either the Shift or Control key to select a group of pictures.

Click the Slide Show button on the main screen to get to the slide show options.

Set the options to for the effects you'd like and click Start to run the slide show.

Copy photos to CD or DVD

Insert a blank CD or DVD to copy your pictures to. Click the Make CD/DVD button (H). A list of all your photo folders will be displayed. Check the box next to each folder you wish to copy.

If you have both a CD and a DVD burner, check the button (I) next to the one you wish to use.

The status bar on the right (J) will indicate how much space on the disc is going to be used.

After checking all the folders you wish to copy, click OK.

The CD or DVD will be made, ready for others to view.
